Wireless Festival Review

I got 99 problems and the festival animal is one.

I’m pretty sure this ain’t a lyric from one of Jay-Z’s signature songs, but it’s something that was embossed upon my Wireless experience none the less.

Perhaps the venue was the root of the problem?

Goldhawks Live At The Camden Barfly

Just where in the world have those Goldhawks been?

All over the UK as it happens, on a rescheduled mini tour in preparation of their hectic festival season.

And to wrap things up before migrating south – well, Ibiza – the Goldhawks touched down in Camden for one more show.

Love Amongst Ruin At The Scala

I’d been clean for four weeks, three days and seventeen hours…

But last night I snapped.

Venturing out into the King’s Cross night, I received some sweet relief with a fix from Steve Hewitt’s new band.

No placebo’s tonight.

The Ruby Suns At The Hoxton Square Bar

Here comes the summer.

So what better time for The Ruby Suns to bring their psychedelic brand of ice cream pop to our newly sun drenched shores.

This Kiwi threesome have bucked the trend of their native country’s renowned national icon and taken flight for a European tour, showcasing their new album Fight Softly and a brand new sound.

The Chemical Brothers At The Roundhouse

The brother’s gonna work it out.

A popular refrain from an early Chemical Brothers hit, and a sentiment I hoped would ring true for me.

As a casual fan of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons big, electro sound; I was looking forward to catching their live show at The Roundhouse but in a slightly detached way.
